Very good with salmon as well as with chicken. I also added minced ginger, green onion and pepper flakes in the marinade - its my preference. Thanks for the recipe.

The best salmon I ever ate!! I used fresh wild sockeye salmon which I'm sure helped. I did double the sauce but I also doubled the sesame oil by mistake but otherwise than that PERFECT!!!

Restaurant quality. Followed ingredients perfectly. Broiling at the end is a must. Very, very delicious! The longer it marinades, the better it tastes. I baked it at 400 degrees for 10 minutes per inch thickness, but check every now and then to see if it's done.

We really enjoyed this, it turned out perfectly. I used wild sockeye salmon, previously frozen and thawed overnight in the fridge from Trader Joe's. Their wild fish never fails to please. Next time I think I will try omitting the olive oil and doubling the or leaving the sesame oil just to cut back on calories some. I also used an unrefined Muscovado sugar from Whole Foods. We had this over http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Wasabi-Mashed-Potatoes/Detail.aspx instead of the rice and the side veg. I chose was steamed radishes with steamed onions. The marinade from the fish made a great "sauce" for everything.

Excellent Recipe. I have made this numerous times and my husband always loves it! I make it with plain or jasmine rice rather than dill and I double the marinade/sauce to fish ratio. Otherwise exactly as called for!

Pretty good especially with the rice. The only thing I did differently was cook the rice in a rice cooker.

Follow the suggestions--double the marinade and halve the olive oil and it's perfect!

I thought this was ok. I expected more flavor from marinating it for a couple of hours. I would make this again if it was a last minute thing because the ingredients are things I usually have on hand.

Very good! I can really only give it 4 stars because I tweaked it a bit- doubled the sauce except for the sesame oil, which I left as is, and the olive oil which I omitted entirely. Fish is already oily and I dislike the feel and taste of oily foods. I also added ground ginger. Yummy! Didn't have dill weed so I made it with wild rice and asparagus. My friends loved it! Next time I might add some cornstarch for a thicker sauce.

Excellent- quick, easy, and my family really loved. I grilled it and had great results. Like others, I doubled the marinade, except oil. I also added about 1/2 tsp. ground ginger to the marinade. (I didn't have fresh, which I would prefer)I marinated the salmon only about 1 1/2 hours b/c that is all the prep time I had! The flavor was still quite good. Then I grilled, skin side down for about 8-9 minutes. It is easy to just lift the fish off of the grill with a spatula, leaving the skin attached to the grill grates. (I use a spatula later on to lift skin off and throw out.) I boiled the marinade until it was reduced by 1/2 and spooned it over the plated fish before serving. Def. will make again this summer-probably for guests. I did not make rice- but will next time :)

I made this last night for Company and got Great Reviews.. I did not change a thing in the ingredients. I did marinate for about 3 hours and I cooked it on foil on the BQQ. I did skin my salmon before marinating so the flavor can penetrate.

I must say I was surprised with this one! I really enjoyed it! I expected it to be super sweet (which I love) but it was just the right amount of sweet and salt. The onions were great in it as well..added a nice crunch. I also doubled the sauce because we are 'saucy' people. :) I've also never made rice with dill weed and it came out pretty good as well. We had this for lunch the next day and it heats up well. We had with 1/2 the amount of rice and steamed cabbage. Very good and very light. :)

Fabulous recipe! I doubled it as per the other reviews or there wouldn't be enough sauce. But the flavours were fantastic and hubby couldn't get enough! Definitely adding this one to the recipe box!

I made the salmon last night and it was great! I didn't make any changes to the recipe although it only took 20 minutes to cook the salmon...
